Our Work

  • Peninsula Transformation

Boasting a magnificent pool that provides a refreshing escape from the warm mid-Peninsula summers, the landscape and garden complement the modern farmhouse-style home.

  • Stinson Beach Hideaway

The notorious enclave of the Seadrift Community exemplifies all that is California. Tucked away from the hustle of San Francisco, Stinson Beach offers a serene landscape with panoramic views of both the Bolinas Ridge of Marin and Pacific Ocean.

  • Silicon Valley Gem

When asked to partner with Leigh Heyte of Heyte designs, we knew we were in for a fun and collaborative process to develop a dream home for an active and growing family.

  • California Living

When we were approached by this client to collaborate on a remarkable Peninsula property and home for her family, we had no choice but to accept! The client brought exhilarating energy and commitment to make strong decisions on design and aesthetic.

  • San Francisco Getaway

The landscape of this newly remodeled 100-year-old Presidio home blends traditional design elements with modern amenities. The urban context of this property challenged us to incorporate the sought-after indoor-outdoor lifestyle into a compact space.

  • Historic Landscape

This thoughtful garden renovation in Hillsborough required our team to carefully work with client and design team to re-imagine the glory days of early 20th century on the Peninsula.

  • City Escape

On the ground level, the backyard underwent a transformation to include needed parking, a basketball hoop, and a driveway leading to the detached garage behind the house.

  • Napa Dream

Designing and building this custom Napa dream home was an inspirational accomplishment. Close collaboration brought together an optimal siting of the “Breeze House” home and all of the notable residential site features.

  • Pacific Heights View

This contemporary Pacific Heights Residence has 360-degree views of San Francisco and the surrounding bay. The upper roof terrace stages an impressive view of the Golden Gate Bridge with a fire table to provide warmth.

  • Marin Hilltop

In collaboration with Jensen Architects, Nicole Hollis and the client, our firm mindfully wove together the bold architecture of the home with the serene and natural Marin County setting.

  • Grand Experience

This open Atherton landscape harmonizes a Transitional designed home with existing heritage oak trees and a variety of outdoor uses. A sequence of patio spaces flow around the residence featuring a fire table and select bluestone paving.

  • Lively Retreat

A strong collaboration with the architects resulted in the success of this Menlo Park project. The organized and seamless indoor and outdoor flow was an over-arching driver to highlight and allow guests and the homeowner to experience daily.

  • City Living

There was considerable thought and pre-planning for this City backyard transformation. The growing family with nearly three teenagers was looking to maximize their backyard space to allow for an active and growing family who enjoys entertaining and cooking.

  • Napa Hillside

By working closely with noted architect, Hugh Newell Jacobsen, the design struck a subtle harmony between landscape and dwelling. We carefully selected plant material, including mature olive trees.

  • Silicon Valley Retreat

With an amazing overlook that frames the San Francisco Bay with natural rolling hills, we developed an outdoor extension of the house’s living space that carefully sustains these special views and manages the structural demands of a hillside project.

  • JAX Vineyards

This coveted 1,000-square-foot open space is located in a rapidly developing area in San Francisco just two blocks from AT&T Park. It is the home of JAX Vineyard’s year-round outdoor Wine Court and Tasting Room.

  • Mountain Home Modern

We mirrored the refined appearance of the home’s interior throughout the landscape. With sustainability in mind, we blended native grasses in large drifts and selected plants with low water requirements.

  • Modern Farmhouse

Nestled among mature trees, the property owners wanted a backyard that blends with their new home, welcomes outdoor use, and harmonizes with the established neighborhood.
